First glance at the star

Maruti Suzuki has finally unveiled the aesthetic hatchback for which we have been anxiously waiting. India’s largest car manufacturers Maruti Suzuki have made the A Star available at an introductory price range of 3.47 lakh to 4.12 lakh. The car will be manufactured at the company’s Manesar facility. The company expects the A star to complete half of its export targets of two lakh units by 2010-11.

The A Star will be available in three different variants in the Indian markets and it will posses a 998cc K10B petrol engine.

Well, that baby sure seems poised for a smooth take-off. The most important thing is that the A-Star combines superior engineering with performance, safety and irresistible good looks. How often does the typical Indian consumer get such a bargain??
